From hobby to Charter Bus Business.
2019 - 2022 Just a hobby.
In 2019 We were asked to drive a rental mini bus for a local sports club.
One club turned into three, Bucks Weekends and Birthday runs started coming in thick in fast.
The idea for an affordable and flexible Charter Bus business Offering Private Charters to Group Charters was born, It then went from being a hobby to building a Business from scratch.
2020 - 2022 COVID-19 and Start up.
We all know what happened in 2020, In January 2021 We bought Our first bus which was a 1989 Volvo B10M with PMC Metro 90 Body We affectionately named "Vinnie the Volvo".
In September 2022 after obtaining Our Accreditation We started the business and officially started trading.
September 2022 - March 2024.
In March 2024 after 18 months in service with Us, Vinnie the Volvo suffered a Turbo failure which took out the engine. As it essentially "Ran away" and ran on it's own oil, Resulting in it needing a $40,000+ engine rebuild. At 35 years old and 1.7 million kilometres covered, Vinnie the Volvo was retired and donated to a worthy cause.
"Vinnie the Volvo" was donated to the Port Macquarie SES for a valuable Training day, Involving the SES from all over the Mid North Coast.
May 2024
In May 2024 We purchased a replacement bus, Essentially the newer MK3 version of Vinnie's MK2 B10M Chassis.
Seeing Her as Vinnie's younger Sister, She was affectionately named "Vivian the Volvo". Vivian started life in Melbourne as Grenda's #53, In 2011 She made the move north to Sydney where she gained her "MO9116" plates and became Transdev's 9116. In July 2024 She was retired from Sydney work at 30 years old, After 10 months of Slumber We purchased her in May 2025. Then drove her home on the 17th of May and had her in service on the 21st of May wearing Vinnie's old "TV256A" number plates, Which will always end up on Our flagship Bus.
